Iam trying to find information and service number for my father who served in Rural Queensland - CMF around 1965. He lived in Chinchilla Qld so I assume he was under the Darling Downs. I have information that he was in the 11th Platoon and 25th Battalion but I cannot find his service number.
He was not deployed anywhere but was definitely enrolled.
Can anyone help?

- Select name search
- Surname
- Given names (change ‘all words’ to ‘any words’ in drop down box)
- Select ‘civilian service records’ (from dropdown box)
- Skip the service number
- Untag exact spelling
- Search
I can’t guarantee anything, but hopefully, your father’s CMF records might come up. If all else fails, select ‘all records’ instead, or even army personnel records. It’s worth a try emailing the History Unit at the Australian War Memorial, too.
