Arrival records for a relative in 1972 - anyone had success?

Hello all,

I am on a year-long journey to prove a relative lived in Australia for a few years, namely in 1964 and 1972 (these two stints were longer stays - with shorter ones in between). They were not a Australian citizen at that point and were a child.
I had success through the NAA and a brilliant representative named Erik H in finding arrival records in 1964.
However, for the arrival in 1972 not so much luck. I narrowed down a potential landing window; Ship: Oriana. Landed in November 10th 1972 in Auckland, then went on to Sydney. Likely landed in Sydney on 11th-17th in line with transit times.

I have done multiple requests, stipulating the year and potential window, but each request has turned back a generic passenger card from 1970 which is readily accessible through a generic NAA search.

My questions:

  1. Does anyone know if there is a way to request a particular reviewer? Erik H seems to understand my situation and may be able to help.
  2. Has anyone had success finding arrival records in 1972? (NAA arrival records says they go until 1972, is that inclusive of the year?)
  3. I would love to hear any suggestions you may have.

Best, and many thanks.
