I am searching for the name of the captain of the Ship Australia 1958, just before this ship was taken out of order by Lloyd Triestino in Genoa. He had the Italian nationality.
In 1958 the Australia will arrive in Feb, Jun and Nov. The following image is the first page of the 11 Nov 1958 arrival in Sydney. It contains the captains name:

PS The Australia seems to continue arriving after 1958 as well. At least in 1959, 1960, 1961 etc

However I am looking for the journey of the Australia With Arrival in Genoa, not for arrival in Sidney.
Arrival in Genoa should be beginning of october 1958.
I am looking for the name of the captain of that journey from Jakarta to Genoa. Was it the same captain on this ship that arrived in Genoa Italy?

The Aug 1958 Sydney arrival has the same captain. It is quite likely that G Casareto was also the captain on the return voyage to Italy. If you want a better answer, I’d assume that you’d have look in Italy, maybe their state archives?
