Hi,

My mother arrived on the Achille Lauro ship into Fremantle in 1968 and I was wondering if her immigration records exist and are available as digital copies somewhere. I have had a look in the passenger index and couldn’t find her or the rest of the family in the records.

If you don’t want to supply at least the surname, you will need to supply the month of arrival as there were multiple arrivals for the Achille Lauro in 1968. Additionally was Fremantle the port of your mother’s disembarktion or just the first Australian port of arrival for the ship’s voyage?

Hi, I am unsure of the month. The last name would be Ferraro, Fremantle would have been the first Australian port but she would have disembarked in Melbourne.
