This tribute, BURGESS George Leonard 423053 – Aviation Heritage Museum , includes excerpts from the statement, made after WW2, of the one survivor, Sgt Donald Grant, from the aircraft, Lancaster PB187 in which Pilot Officer George Burgess died in a bombing raid on Dortmund on 12 March 1945. The reference, National Archives of Australia On-Line Record A705 166/6/1005, is given but no matter how I search I cannot find this. I have the reference NAA A705 166/6/1003 from another source but I cannot find that either. Am I doing something wrong?

Many thanks for that response TreeSpirit. The reference came from a researcher at the Luftkriegsarchiv (Air Warfare Archive) in Cologne and the information answers some of my questions.
I think this may be what your looking for. It’s a document from the archives and includes the specific reference number A705/166/6/1005 on page 181. This is the link:
I’ll have to send the screenshot separately.
I hope this helps.
Many thanks for that record, it provides the information I was seeking. It was also interesting to see the records of all 460 Squadron airmen who sacrificed their lives during WW2.
Best regards
John
