???
1860’s seem to be a bit early as he was still living with his family in Islington in the 1881 census.
A 1906 death bio declares that Fredrick arrived in Australia abt 1887 and that he sailed in the Dacca: https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/84145920/8803576?searchTerm=%22timbury%22
He would have arrived before late April 1887:
This is Frederick in May 1887: https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/3470216?searchTerm=%22timbury%22
Most likely Frederick in April 1887: https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/285414298?searchTerm=%22timbury%22
I have searched various 1886/1887 passenger lists (Queensland) for the Dacca, but nothing has turned up. I suppose it also possible that he arrived even earlier or that he arrived in e.g. Adelaide with the Dacca (early 1887).
Hi Tree Spirit,
I am a member of a group who care for the historic Tingalpa Pioneer Chapel and Cemetery eastern suburb of Brisbane.. The Chapel and Cemetery is still owned by the Anglican Church but now in the care of our group as heritage listed and only for weddings these days
Many thanks for your information you have given us and would be grateful if you send us anything else you may come across ![]()
There are two with the name Frederick in one grave and beside this grave there is the grave of Eleanor.
