Hello everyone I am looking for my Great Grandfather Claude White. He was in Donald Victoria in 1917, with A women called Daphne Price ( they said they were married but I can’t find a marriage anywhere). They had my nana there and that is the first and last time I know of him. I have my nanas birth certificate with his name on it .
What do your grandmother’s birth (1917), marriage (1942?) and death (1980?) certificates mention re your great grandparents?
e.g. (approx) age or birth date, place of birth, residence, version of names, residence, deceased … etc (I assume that there could be some variations between documents, but any minor snippet of data might be usful)
I’m wondering whether the following 1920 newspaper clipping describes your grandmother. It would answer the question whether your great grandparents would have been married:
