I am looking for somebody who came to Australia possible from Penang. She had british and american nationality. I know her date of birth and given names but I don’t know what her surname was when she came to Australia. She was born Patricia Anne Bardwell in Sayre, Pensylvania 22.08.1922. Does anyone know how I can find her?
I haven’t been able to find an Australian arrival for her yet (maybe you can narrow down that timeline and where she would have arrived?). I did notice the following 2 things:
#1 Patricia’s DOB seems to be 17 Aug 1922 (mentioned in various doco e.g. 1939 UK register)
#2 Her married name was EVANS (1951 onwards)

Her January 1978 cremation record in Cornelian Bay, Tasmania (FYI the document mentions Jan 1977, but I this is incorrect because she died somewhere in November 1977):

Image#3 confirms the name of her father: William Scott BARDWELL!!!
Patricia made her will in the UK in 1964, so her Australian arrival seems to have happened between 1964 and 1977.
