Looking for Dick and Ron Backhouse

I have a letter from a great uncle Frederick John Backhouse (Reg No 1081) dated 9/2/1946 referring to the fact that "Dick and Ron Backhouse are now out of the Army".

In searching the records I can find no reference to a Ron or Ronald Backhouse.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your reply. I do not have and records or indications that there was an inquest after my Uncle's death. I have always just assumed that there would have been one. I will most likely leave it at that.

I would very much like to have a link to a photo of his headstone.
