Freddie is my cousin, he emigrated to Australia around 1950 (??) . He might be living in Perth (?) he also had a brother John also in Australia. I would like to make contact with him or his family, any information would be appreciated.
Hello Michael
I apologise for the delay in responding to your posting. The National Archives of Australia may have records relating to your cousin if he came to Australia under an assisted migration scheme where the Australian government supported his passage. Alternatively, he may have become an Australian citizen, in which case we may have his application for naturalisation. If you are interested in following up on this line of inquiry, you can submit an inquiry to our reference service using the online form at http://reftracker.naa.gov.au/reft100.aspx?key=03ImmiRef and one of our reference officers will search the collection on your behalf. Please note, under the Archives Act 1983 we can only provide you with information that is in the open access period (currently we are releasing information that was created in or before 1985) - see fact sheet 10 for more information http://naa.gov.au/collection/fact-sheets/fs10.aspx. If there are any records relating to your cousin, they may give some indication of where he settled in Australia.
Unfortunately, the National Archives of Australia isn't able to help you with information on his current whereabouts.
Best of luck in your search
Tonia

Thanks Tonia,
I will search the sites you mention, hopefully I will find him.
Michael
