Homeless Veteran

Hi,I heard on the radio (2GB 873) this morning that a homeless veteran living in Orange, NSW had died and is being buried I think on Monday. The presenter Ben Fordham was trying to find out which war the veteran was in or something about his military service.His name is Glen Sutton - age 69 so birth year would be about 1952. Death June/July 2021 Orange.It would be lovely to find out something so maybe Veteran Affairs could be approached to provide a cross or plaque.He was one of our veterans…See More

Hi,I am doing my family history and am trying to find out how I can locate an Enlistment photo of my 2x gt uncle Frederick Ernest Wilson. He enlisted on 11 September 1914 in Mornington, Victoria. He was in the AIF 5th Battalion and was mortally wounded in the Dardanelles and died in the General Hospital, Alexandria, Egypt on 3rd May 1915.His service number on enlistment was 1193 but on some records it's been changed to 1126.He is buried in Chatby Cemetery, Alexandria, Egypt.The Australian War…See More
