i was trying to find out some information on thomas huxtable service number - 419 place of birth broken hill nsw enlistment - blackboy hill. his father was called henry huxtable.

apparently there is a couple of letters that he wrote that i do not know how to view them

could some one let me know where to find them and how can i look at them

Hi Isobel,

You will need to tell us how you found out about the letters - were they private letters or are you talking about those that are included in his service record?

Search for his service record here on RecordSearch http://www.naa.gov.au/collection/search/index.aspx using the search term Huxtable 419 then click on 'view digital copy' on the right hand side of the page.

one letter he requested was to do with his war medals and he wrote to the military after his discharge requesting a copy of the discharge as he apparently lost it
