How does one search these records. I know that my grandparents were naturalised in 1945-1946.

Hi Patricia

The National Archives of Australia has the records of people who became naturalised Australians.  Unfortunately, not all of these records are indexed on our RecordSearch database.  I recommend that you submit a reference inquiry using the online form at http://reftracker.naa.gov.au/reft100.aspx?key=03ImmiRef.  Please create a new inquiry for each person that you are interested in and provide as much information as possible.

Regards

Tonia

I too have the same problem..... I could remember I was naturalized between 1987-1990 but I cannot search my naturalisation through the record search......
