Am trying to identify an uncle who from his uniform was in ww1 ,possibly light horse.We were told it was a younger brother Jack who was only 12 at the time.It is possibly an older brother,but I cannot find him in the list of army personnel.His name WILLIAM PATRICK Lawler born MORUYA on 27/9/1892,parents PATRICK & Annie Lawler. Have gone through all records of army personnel,and he's not listed. Would like to verify if he was in light horse uniform and the patch on his left shoulder looks like an upside down triangle ,but it's a bit distorted . Would like to post his photo ,but there's no provision for that
