Horrocks / Walls families from the Wigan areas.
Hi,
I am looking for information on the Horrocks and Walls families from the Wigan areas, for my research on my family history. I have hit a few brick walls and any info; however small will be much appreciated to me The main person I need info on is Thomas Horrocks b. wigan 1804. He is my grx3 grandfather. I need to find a baptism for him as it then may lead me to who I think his parents are.

I've just had a quick look on the UK National Archives website and they have information about how to start searching for baptism records in parish registers (pre1837) at the bottom of http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/records/looking-for-person/birth...

Thanks for this information I am going out when I get back at teatime I will check this out although I have been at the history shop in Wigan for months searching parish registers this one might give me information I could not find
