Joseph,   If you put their names into Record Search they are listed but the record is not online as yet but can be requested

It looks like this family went to South Australia - I have found a death in South Australia for a Rachela CARBONE which sounds like her and would have to check further to find Giovanni as there are several listed in South Australia

Let me know if you want those details and in the meantime I can do some further checks

Joseph,   Was Rachela born in 1932  - need to check further to make sure I have the right lady

I think Rachela was born in 1901 in Tresilico , province of Reggio Calabria ,Italy .

Joseph.  The Rachela I found in South Australia could not be the same one as I have found her maiden name on an obituary and it doesn't match - I didn't realize your Rachela was born this early so will have to recheck

She doesn't appear on our electoral rolls so maybe she was never naturalised - I will let you know if I find anything as still searching

If you knew Giovannis parents names/birth place that may help in the search as there are many listed in our records

Joseph,   The immigration record I found in 1946/47 was for a Giovanni CARBONE asking to bring out relatives/friends including  Rachela and also a Guiseppe & Grazia Maria CARBONE

I have found the deaths of Guiseppe & Grazia in Victoria and they were born c. 1908/1910

Do these names ring a bell as being related to the family you are looking for?   parents names for Giovanni & Rachela would really help

Joseph,    I have now got a copy of Rachelas death notice from the Newspaper but I cannot post it here for copyright reasons so I will send you a friends request incl. my email address and I can get it to you that way

There is info on other family members on that notice

I have good news in that I have made contact with a grandson of  Giovanni & Rachela and can send you the contact details when I hear back from you - I have also sent you an email about this
