person in the centre is Raymond Charles Wilkinson- WW1- on the back of the photo is 'To Toby with love from Ray, France March 11, 1918’
it is possible that one is James Henry Morton, regiment no 3192, 23rd Battalion. My uncle did a family history where he refers to Raymond being the best man at his friends wedding at Katandra, Vic. He refers to his friend as Jim Morton- i could find no records other than those of James Morton suggesting he was Jim.
Another war friend in his book was Rob Jenkins (late 8th btn) which i could not find information on.
it is possible that neither of these two are in the photo.
any assistance would be of value
