Looking for date and port of arrival

I found the record of the arrival of the family I'm researching but no arrival date or port are included.

Is there a way of finding the missing details?

Ron,   Can you list the family name and/or the ships name they arrived on and someone here might be able to find more information for you

National Archives of Australia: (No arrival date available)
MITCHELL Charles William Dennis born 30 July 1920; Valerie Mary (nee Bennett) born 24 December 1922; Pauline born 12 November 1958; Claire born 12 November 1958; David Anthony born 27 December 1959; travelled per FAIRSKY departing Southampton on 21 May 1960 under the Assisted Passage Migration Scheme.

Looking for arrival date and port of arrival.

Any information gratefully accepted.

Ron,  I found this on Ancestry but am still checking as to whether it came on to other ports/states other than Western Australia - it is a start

"On 21 May 1960, the Fair Sky departed Southampton and arrived in Fremantle on 15 Jun 1960"

Thanks for that Elizabeth. Valerie sailed to New Zealand from Sydney with four children (Peter born Australia) in 1961, but folklore has it that the family lived in Brisbane, hence the confusion.

Ron,  Further checks found that the family were headed for Sydney (Ancestry)

I think before that the ship used to come via Brisbane, Sydney & Melbourne  but we know it was headed for Western Australia on the voyage so maybe you can do some google searches and find which other ports it stopped at

So if they arrived in Sydney then maybe they made their way up to Queensland later on?

Thanks for that Elizabeth, at least I now have an arrival date. I'm surprised that the Port of Arrival is not recorded on NAA, one would think it vital information for assisted migration.

Ron,  Well if they weren't 10 pound Poms as they called them, then their arrival would not be listed at all on the NAA

According to the passenger list, the intended port of debarkation was Sydney:

There is a separate “Incoming passenger list for FAIRSKY arriving Sydney 22 June 1960” but it isn’t online yet:
