WW1 Official Soldier Portraits

Can anyone tell me please if all soldiers in WW1 had an official photograph taken. I have been able to find my Grandfather Walter Reginald Snow, but have not been able to locate one for his brothers, Frank Snow Service No: 920(not to be confused with Frank Noel Snow).

Thanks to your help earlier I was able to see a photo of another brother William Arthur Snow in a Trove Newspaper.

Would very much like to see one of Frank.

Quaker Cemetery

I am asking for help in the search of a Quaker Cemetery. I have been given a copied sheet which has the name Davies 16203 or 16205. There are no initials or dates and is not in alphabetical or numerical order.  There are about 450 names and numbers that go as high as 28,000 and it is only part of a larger sheet. He left Adelaide by air on the 12th December 1967 with the 3 RAR Advance Party and returned on the 5th June 1968 with the rank of Lance-Corporal Snow.

I believe he was with C Company.

Any information would be greatly…

Arthur Snow and Maria (nee Scannell)

I am now seeking help in finding out about my Great Parent's arrival in Australia.

We know that they were in Leicester, Leicestershire England for their marriage in 1876 and a son Walter was born there in 1877. A daughter Kate Elizabeth Snow was born in Wellington, South Africa in 1880 and a 2nd daughter Annie Clara Snow may also have been born there in 1882. All we know is that they were in Melbourne, Victoria in 1887 when other children were born.

They ended up living in…

All served in WW1 and I have their service records. Any information on any of them or photos would be a great help.
