Joan Doreen Norman nee Bissett

Trying to find anything, all I can find is marriage to Oswald Gordon Norman. Cannot find info on either grandparents, Dont know great-grandparents, nothing.

Joan and Oswald married in Marrickville 1945. Had 3 children, Doreen, Gordon and My Dad, Kevin.

Searching for James Ainsworth

unable to find entry to Oz somewhere before 1855 when he married Rosina Bradley in Portland 1855.

They lived and had children penola Stn until 1866 when they farmed at Drumborg, Victoria with Moore and Bradley famlies.

Some family items, such as bible, held at Bower Bird Museum until death of owner more recently, and family of still has.

Family oral history spoke of him being in merchant ancy and 'jumping ship'.

Norma Nowak Nee 'Callaghan'

Norma is married to Trevor Nowak, 2 children, John and Peter.

Amabli Attard Born Zejtun Malta about 1885 Died Malta 1957

His daughter would like to know what he did when he came to the Cane Fields in Queensland with his two brothers , she thinks after WW1 he went back to Malta got married and his  wife Carmela would not return to Australia with him so they stayed put. Years later his sons and daughter migrated to Australia . His daughter would like to try and find Amablis brothers descendants before passing the great divide. A Friend this making this post on her behalf. Thanks

Civilan Prisoner of War held in Borneo Find Records

My g Uncle was working in Sandakan 1940s captured by the Japanese and held as civilian Prisoner at Lingtang Kuching has been suggested Australian Forces released these prisoners and would hold records. Rupert Falkland Vaughan born Singapore 1878--so was no chicken - can anyone advise or help-thanks

Searching for 'Charles Henry Nowak'.

I'm searching for my Great Grandfather Charles Henry Nowak.

He died around 1971 ?? His wife was Aileen Gibbons, married in Sydney I think in 1919. I know they had a son named Trevor.
