My father was awarded the War Medal 1939-1945 'Mentioned in Despatches' during service in WW11. Can anyone advise if it's possible to find out any of the details leading to this recommendation. He was a Corporal in RAAF, serving in Signal/Wireless Units in the PNG area 1943-1946. I would appreciate any help. Many Thanks

Hello.
I was at Bonegilla in April 8th 1957.
I came to Australia on a plane and the identification is MIFLY 15/106.
This plane arrived into Essendon airport on April 6, 1957.
Can anyone tell me if they arrived on this plane?
Would you have any photos?
Can anyone help with photos of Bonegilla at that time?
I would love to hear from anyone in regard to the above.
