Trying to locate the decadents of a World War 2 serviceman by the Name of George Taylor or George McWardle-Taylor. He was held by the Japanese as prisoner of war and returned to Australia at the end of the hostilities. Either he or his family owned a farm at Clyde and he had perhaps 3 sisters who also worked on the farm. My father-in-law was Colin Murchie, born, I believed, to James and Maggie Murchie on 24 April 1937 in Adelaide.
I discovered only yesterday, that he was adopted and was actually the son of Dorothy Snow.
As I am trying to update our family tree, I would welcome any information about either the Murchie family, concerning whom I already have a fair amount of information, or the Snow family, about whom I know almost nothing.

Hi i am trying to trace members of the cunningham family that emigrated from new brighton, merseyside in late 1964 arriving in melbourne on the 24-12-1964 aboard the Fairsea from southampton. there were 4 members of the family, mother, one daughter and two sons tony and johnny. after arrival they settled in melbourne. Lennart abrahamsson born 1932 in sweden, came to Australia 1950´s, was married and had a daughter which probably is still alive. his parents was andrea abrahamsson and kalle, the mother was born in 1900-06-14 and died in 1972. I am searching for my moms cousin Lennart Abrahamsson born 1932 i Ronneby sweden, born by andrea abrahamsson and husband Kalle, born 1900-06-14 in Ronneby and died in Ronneby 1972. Lennart took a ship to Australia in the 1950´s, the last address my mom had was mount Druitt , Nsw.
