I have exhursted my knowledge o this blog.I am looking for information on a (Ellen Phyllis Reddy B.1892) who married John Hubert McCourt B.1894 D.1947. in Perth 1919, When did she arrive in Perth?, There was a baby b.Sept.1910 in Perth.Harold Bertram McCourt. This family family left Perth and I found her again via (Ancestry.com Electrol Rolls. 1903-1980. Hudstville. NSW.

Trying to locate RAAF WW2 technical drawings (as in "Drawing A-3251)

Have been looking through RAAF Technical Orders circa 1942, and there are sometimes references to drawings with a prefix 'A'. They would be engineering or technical drawings.

I am having trouble locating where these drawings might be found.

To give an example: In Technical Order Publication Hudson Order No.46 (covering the installation of radar equipment) in one of the sections, "Structural Section" it started off "Refer to drawing A-2632"

Looking for George McWardle Taylor

Trying to locate the decadents of a World War 2 serviceman by the Name of George Taylor or George McWardle-Taylor. He was held by the Japanese as prisoner of war and returned to Australia at the end of the hostilities. Either he or his family owned a farm at Clyde and he had perhaps 3 sisters who also worked on the farm. Andrew Howard Garven

Firstly, I am interested in any information about Andrew Howard Garven who was a Guardian of Minors in 1913. My research thus far has led me to believe that he was in fact the Guardian for Aboriginal children in the Clarence River district of NSW. I am looking for the records of Eric Charlton Lord born in Queensland 1889. It appears he may have been in the Merchant Navy and possibly died WW1. How does one find records? Any help would be most appreciated.

My father-in-law was Colin Murchie, born, I believed, to James and Maggie Murchie on 24 April 1937 in Adelaide. 

I discovered only yesterday, that he was adopted and was actually the son of Dorothy Snow.

As I am trying to update our family tree, I would welcome any information about either the Murchie family, concerning whom I already have a fair amount of information, or the Snow family, about whom I know almost nothing.

James Bruce/Ann Tate

I am trying to trace my 2nd Great Grandfather James Bruce, born in 1823 in Fife, Scotland to David Bruce & Janet Kidd.



In 1847' James Bruce emigrated to Melbourne, Australia with his parents etc, they came by a ship called ' Marchioness of Douglas leaving his 1st wife Margaret Bruce and sons then got marry again to Ann Tate in 1848 in Cape of Good Hope. Ann Tate died Sept 27 1853 aged 35.



James died on 14 July 1876 at Melbourne hospital aged 53.

Looking for relatives of Sylvia Elsie Sanders of Perth and Adelaide. She married then divorced Craig Broderick Larsson. Sylvia might have had a daughter in 1940s/ 1950s. Her first husband was Norman Price and she seems to have retained this surname.

tracing old friend

Hi i am trying to trace members of the cunningham family that emigrated from new brighton, merseyside in late 1964 arriving in melbourne on the 24-12-1964 aboard the Fairsea from southampton. there were 4 members of the family, mother, one daughter and two sons tony and johnny. after arrival they settled in melbourne. I am searching for my moms cousin Lennart Abrahamsson born 1932 i Ronneby sweden, born by andrea abrahamsson and husband Kalle, born 1900-06-14 in Ronneby and died in Ronneby 1972. Lennart took a ship to Australia in the 1950´s, the last address my mom had was mount Druitt , Nsw.
