"If we go back to a 1948 voyage, she would have arrived somewhere in March 1948 (the Ormonde arrives on 27 Feb 1948 in Fremantle) and she’s given 35 Wilson street, Harbord (= "Freshwater" nowadays) as her address:…"

It easy to assume things, but could you confirm Florence's religion (in case she had become a nun)?
So she initially arrived in Sydney on the Baradine that sailed 1/2/1923: http://naa.gov.au/go.aspx?i=412509&f=29
And you suspect…"
"What information are you after as I assume that this gentleman (and his family as he arrives with a wife and a child) could still be alive so respect for privacy should be taken into consideration?
"Actually, Victorian enrolments are online, but you'll need a bit of elbow grease to get a a meager one liner only (not a whole page like in WW1).

Hi Sylvia, many thanks for your information on Florence Hunter, her Father was Presbyterian, her Mother Catholic. Florence was raised Presbyterian, however family suspect she may have converted to Catholicism.
I have mistyped her 2nd time to Australia, if it is correct, it would have been 1948 aboard the Ormonde. I will try and pursue the probate information that you gave me, Florence appeared to have a moveable date of birth, she was born in 1902, however at times her birth year has been recorded as 1905 and once as 1909. Thank you so much
