Welsh/ Australia Connection

Researching the family history of my "Grandfathers Brother" Leonard Wallace Palfrey Born 1897. Left the UK in January 1924 in the company of a Miss Dorthy Chard. Born 1897. Both from  Malpas, Newport, Wales. London to Sydney on board the P&O SS Bendigo. Passenger ticket No 78 Chard. Passenger ticket No 79 Palfrey.To date, have been unable to trace any records in the NAA of Australia. Any members able to point me in the right direction, would be much appreciated.
