I am trying to find out more about what my Grandparents did during WWII. My grandmother, Mavis Thibou (nee Johnson; Service No. NFX179086) enlisted in Baulkham Hills in 1939. I know she was trained as a nurse in the army, where she met my grandfather. I would love to know more about her service history.

My grandfather (Service No. NX90739) enlisted in Paddington in 1939. I know he served in Tobruk and New Guinea. I think he was with the 2/17th Battalion. I think he was injured on the beach in New Guinea. I would love to know what really happened. I have tried searching the War memorial archives but I don't know where else to search. Both my grandparents are deceased. I would love to hear from anyone who can help me with this search. Thankyou. Renee Pearson
