Hello Jeanette

I apologise for the delay in responding to your post.  I am not a genealogist, so I do not know most of the databases that may be of use to you.  Maybe one of the genealogists on the forum could suggest some good sources.

I am not sure if you are aware, the National Library of Australia holds Australian electoral rolls on microfilm into the 1990s, for more information see http://www.nla.gov.au/research-guides/electoral-rolls.

Also, there is a website that indexes death notices from many Australian newspapers – the Ryerson Index: http://www.nla.gov.au/research-guides/electoral-rolls

The Cora-web site may point you in the right direction http://www.coraweb.com.au/,

Family Search -  https://familysearch.org/ - this is a free family history website.

Ancestry – www.ancestry.com – is a subscription website.

You may be able to find them in the current telephone directory online: www.whitepages.com.au.

Best of luck in your search
